Avoid booking this electrician. Unfortunately our experience reflects a lot of experiences of this company. Matt's company was booked to do an electrical job for us (installing lighting and plugs into garage conversion). Over the course of 3 months we had 7 incidents where he was booked in for work but did not turn up. He was impossible to contact as he would blank our calls if he saw us calling and not answer messages that had clearly been read immediately after sending them (confirmed with read receipts). This was made immediately transparent when i called him only to have him blank me, then called him from an unregistered number and had him pick up. He booked several appointments saying he would send someone round at 8am on arranged days, but then that day came and went with no electrician and no contact when we tried to chase. He was also supposed to drop off some cabling which we needed to finish aspects of the job, but he never did so we had to buy that separately just so we could continue with the build. Really un professional and just a terrible work ethic. Our builder said they would never use him again because he has never had a tradesman as bad as him - wouldn't respond to any messages or calls from him resulting in it delaying the work. As said, our experience reflects a lot of other reviews on here and check-a-trader - just make sure you filter for lower reviews because there is an abundance of reviews saying the same thing. He books you in, takes the money, and then doesn't finish the job. We are still waiting for someone to come and finish the work, but he wont return our messages or calls, so I am forced to call it quits and book someone more professional. If you need to book someone to do the job in a timely manner, for example if you have a job requiring multiple tradesman who require accurate and reliable time frames for work, I would 100% book with someone else.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this business. After they lifted the floorboards to access the electrics, we were left with a clunk every time we walked over them. They didn't come back to rectify this and we waited patiently for nearly a month but kept in contact with 5messages and 4phone calls. Still nothing. Now having to pay a carpenter. Extremely disappointed!!
